    STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

    I belong to an educated family where studies are always given high preference in one’s
    life and like wise due to my personal penchant to acquire a degree from abroad to put my
    self in a position where I am known with a name that’s taken with honor and with a label
    of a successful person so far that I have decided to study overseas to fulfill my parents
    ambitions as well.
    I am lucky that I have a fairly liberal education from schooling to bachelor degree with
    my family and teachers support and encouragement through English medium institutes
    completed my bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering specialization in Polymer
    Engineering (4 years) from University of Engineering & Technology Lahore. Due to
    great interest of me and my family, I have decided to choose teaching as my profession
    and joined Department of Polymer and Process Engineering as a lecturer on contract
    basis in UET, Lahore. Currently I am serving the same department and also completing
    my M.Sc in Polymer & Process Engineering.
    Now Government of Pakistan has decided to establish international level universities in
    Pakistan. It’s great news for us. HEC has announced FDP scholarships for UESTP. I
    want to serve such kind of international universities along with foreign faculty. Its too
    beneficial for me to enhance my exposure in teaching profession. So its very important
    for me to complete my higher studies from one of the best foreign universities due to
    their global excellence and their faculty’s perfect teaching styles and the curriculums
    offered are great and challenging that are mainly designed for one’s professional growth
    in the specific area of specialization.
    Moreover, international universities aim to be global universities committed to meet the
    need and ambition of culturally and internationally diverse range of student by providing
    challenging academic programs underpinned by innovative research, scholarship and
    professional practice. I believe that I can get my goals in such kind of university. My
    intentions are to study for the betterment of my future, to excel in my teaching profession
    and to secure it by getting one specific degree that is recognized all over the world.
    I hope you will consider me a prospective student for FDP scholarship.
