eminently sophisticated and high-performance microphones, wireless
systems, headphones and headsets for professional applications in
broadcast, film/ television, and studios as well as for aural-acoustical
investigations and measurements like in universities or research centres.
Decades of experience, stringent quality and rigorous performance tests
are the basis on which we provide our customers with excellent

The MC 834 condenser microphone features a

extremely linear frequency curve and a frequency
response of 20 to 20,000 Hz. Due to its cardioid
polar pattern it has a high gain-before-feedback.
Without pre-attenuation the microphone has a SPL

The MCE 530 is a cardioid condenser microphone suitable for both project studios and
semiprofessionals. It consists of a lightweight, but rugged, plastic casing strengthened
with carbon fibres. Its small and short design permits flexible and unobtrusive positioning.
The microphone is powered by phantom power between 12 and 48 V. The frequency
response of the MCE 530 has been optimised for miking instruments and choirs. Using the
WS 53 windscreen the MCE 530 is an ideal speaker’s microphone in churches and halls.
Exceptional XY stereo recordings may be achieved using two MCE 530 microphones with
the adjustable MAV 802 mounting for two microphones. Therefore the MCE 530 is also
available as a matched microphone pair with useful accessories in a rugged plastic case.

The M 99 is a dynamic moving coil microphone of

studio quality. The tailored frequency response suits
many applications from instrument miking to on-air
broadcasting. The beyerdynamic TG-X technology used
in the M 99 features a strong Neodymium magnet

that still produce ribbon microphones.
One of them is the legendary M 130. The M 130’s unique double
ribbon element has a superb transient response,
creating a highly detailed sound with unsurpassed accuracy and
transparency.
The bidirectional figure eight polar pattern effectively suppresses
unwanted interference from the sides. The M 130’s balanced,
uncoloured sound handles a wide variety of applications.
In conjunction with the hypercardioid M 160, the M 130 is ideal
for creating an authentic stereo image through the use of the MS-
(Mid-Side) technique.
The M 130 gives excellent results when the Mid-Side technique is MS-stereophony with
used to record or broadcast a true stereo image. Its rugged design M 160 and M 130
handles the demands of remote recording/broadcast sessions as easily
as those of the studio. Alone, the M 130 allows the recording
of background audience noise and concert hall “ambience” without
unwanted resonances. In the recording studio it is effective with
backing vocal groups, percussion and toms. The M 130’s crisply
articulated, uncoloured sound is well suited to such demanding M 130
audiophile applications as digital and direct-to-disc recording.

The electrostatic transducer element and the hypercardioid/lobe polar pattern result
in an excellent polar pattern with high sensitivity. Due to its construction and integra-
ted active filter the microphone is insensitive towards wind and vibrations caused by
zoom motors. Each sound source is reproduced absolute clearly.
The MCE 86 II can be powered from balanced phantom source. If phantom power is
not available the MCE 86 II S version should be used. This microphone can be phan- Applications

Shotgun Condenser Microphones
The rugged and lightweight MC 836 and MC 837 shotgun microphones

have been designed to meet the demands of ENG and EFP applications.
Due to their acoustical characteristics they are also suited for film
applications. The directional polar pattern helps to suppress lateral and
background noise.
Both microphones operate according to the pressure gradient/line
transducer technique. A switchable low frequency roll-off eliminates
unwanted low frequencies at a cut-off frequency of 90 Hz. An integrated
footfall sound insulation avoids the transmission of noise below 40 Hz.
To avoid wind noise when used outdoors, a windscreen must be used.
Both microphones can be operated with a phantom power supply of
11 - 52 V.

Headzone PRO is the first mobile headphone system that allows professional monitoring with
virtual 5.1 reproduction. With the help of the most up-to-date digital signal processing (DSP),
“Binaural Environment Modelling” technology and patented ultrasonic-headtracking the
system achieves an audio impression which is equivalent to a genuine 5.1 loudspeaker

Simulating your own personal reference control room
With Headzone’s advanced environment simulation software it’s easy to model the sound of a
loudspeaker system (up to 5.1) and to recall it at any time. The parameters that affect sound in
a real room can all be adjusted virtually: the position of the loudspeakers in the room, their
distance from the listener, the size and also the acoustic qualities of the room. So it’s you who
decides the audio environment in which to work at any time.
Headtracking
Headtracking for perfect localisation and constant spatial awareness
Headzone makes sound an experience. Through the use of the ultrasonic-headtracker system,
Headzone permanently detects the position of your head and adapts the source audio playback
position accordingly. Unlike traditional headphones turning your head does not affect the
localisation of Headzone’s sound. As in a real environment, when using Headzone the virtual
speaker or sound source is located in front of, next to or behind you depending on how you
turn your head, therefore simulating the “sweet spot” in your control room. The result is so
effective that you completely forget that you are wearing headphones.
