- Indice de alteraciones del sueño, formado por los tres items referidos a
insomnio (4, 5, 6).
INTERPRETACIÓN
0–3 No depresión
4–8 Depresión menor
≥ 9 Depresión mayor
Un segundo índice útil para evaluar los cambios en el perfil sintomático del
cuadro depresivo es el índice “ansiedad / somatización” (formado por los items
10, 11, 12, 13, 15, y 17), que cuantifica los niveles de ansiedad, considerados
altos a partir de una puntuación ≥ 7 11,14.
PROPIEDADES PSICOMÉTRICAS
Fiabilidad:
En sus dos versiones, esta escala posee una buena consistencia interna
(alfa de Cronbach entre 0,76 y 0,92, según estudios)22-24. El coeficiente de
correlación intraclases es de 0,92 en un estudio llevado a cabo por Pott 25. La
fiabilidad interobservador oscila, según autores, entre 0,65 y 0,917,23,26.
Validez:
Su correlación con otros instrumentos de valoración global dela depresión,
como la Escala de Depresión de Montgomery-Asberg, el Inventario de
Sintomatología Depresiva y l Escala de Melancolía de Bech, oscila entre 0,8 y
0,911,23,27.
