Report

Your company wants to improve the working conditions for its employees and you have been
asked to write a report for the Managing Director. Write a report on the improvements that
employees would like to see and why, and advise on the priority in which the improvements
should be implemented.

INTRODUCTION

The purpose of this report is to give information about the suggested improvements in
working conditions. This document will comment on the specific changes that employees
would like to see and their reasons.

POSSIBLE IMPROVEMENTS

As a research has been carried out into improving the job surroundings in the company, the
staff members have been putting forward their views on the subject. To be able to take on
their basic tasks, employees have outlined the necessity to implement, among others, three
measures:

 the installation of air conditioners


 the provision of water coolers
 the supply of a break room

In an ever-changing world of enterprises increasingly spilling into the business game, not
missing out on trump-card employees is of paramount importance if the organization is to
remain competitive. Therefore, creating a much more welcoming environment for them
should be considered as vital.

In terms of facilitating a pleasant and favorable atmosphere that results in efficient work flow,
the installation of air conditioners plays an important role. Taking into account that offices can
be a breeding ground for colds and bacteria, the mentioned systems help to purify the air
through sophisticated filters. It is the improvement of indoor air quality what accounts,
particularly, for the lack of potential allergens as well as odours and sweltering rooms for
people to work in.

In a similar vein, water coolers will not only allow workers for sufficient consumption of water
but also have numerous health benefits. Dehydration triggers the incapacity of performing to
their best ability at work on account of being unmotivated, lethargic and drained. Having that
on mind, special attention should be given to water coolers as they will serve as a reminder of
