The problem is that Calvin feels like he is the only 4th grader who does
not own a pet. The solution is that Calvin keeps a worm as his pet.
Summary of Text
Calvin feels like he is the only 4th grader who does not own a pet. His
allergies do not let him tolerate any kind of pet. Calvin then decides
that an earthworm can be his pet. His parents are not very happy with
this idea. Grandma however, helps Calvin get his earthworm back and
keep as his pet.
