Being an engineer, I wish to join in the Government sector. After getting government job, I can update
my post. I wish to serve the society. The government job gives an opportunity to be in public service
directly. Besides, I wish to work in an ornganisation, where I am directly working for public welfare and I
am responsible and accountable to the public for what I am doing for them.

There are many government departments and institutions like DRDO, NTPC etc. which demand for
engineering background, so my engineering background is going to help me in getting a job in the
government sector. I believe that I have capabilities and skills which can enable me to work for them.
Engineering course has developed my analytical skills and my technological capabilities, which I can use
for the benefit of general public. Working in organizations like DRDO, NTPC gives a feeling that one is
working for the nation and for national interests. I wish to put my life and my career in national service.

Yes, I am prepared for all these, because I have prepared myself for the national service, so these issues
are nothing for me. My priorities are clear and now I just want to join these services.

We are planning to send a Chandra-yan (a shuttle will go to the moon). I had cleared the Chandrayan
paper for ISRO ʹ I cleared the first paper, but couldn͛t clear the 2nd paper.

A.P.J. Abdul Kalam because he devoted his life for the nation. He declined offers from NASA in favour of
our nation.

People don͛t want to work here. There is no work culture. Today is Makar Sankriti, good healthy people,
who can easily work, don͛t work and take this occasion for borrowing money or for taking rest. Once a
person came to borrow money from my father for education of his children. My father asked him to
work, but he said that he could continue by borrowing money from others. We need to learn from
Japan, which has progressed more than us but focusing on work. We have to create work culture in our
country.
