As of July 12, 2020 (8PM), confirmed cases of COVID-19 recorded in Bicol Region are two hundred

twenty-seven (227).

On recoveries

Apart from the five (5) recoveries reported earlier, Bicol#93, a 21-year old Filipino female from Legazpi
City, Albay has also recovered.

Total recoveries recorded today are six (6). Active cases are one hundred twenty-seven (127).

On test results received

A total of ninety-five (95) test results were received today. Forty (40) are from Bicol Regional Diagnostic
and Reference Laboratory (BRDRL) while fifty-five (55) are from Bicol Medical Center (BMC).

Of the 95 test results, four (4) are positive, as reported earlier.

Breakdown of 91 negative results:

Albay - 12, BMC - 3, Catanduanes - 12, Legazpi CHO - 16, and CESO Naga - 48.

On probable and suspect cases

The one (1) suspect and (1) probable case in Bicol are from Albay.

DOH CHD-Bicol reminds the public that the Community Quarantine is still in effect, thus, guidelines and
directives must be complied with. Staying in our homes and following preventive measures against
COVID-19 are the simplest yet helpful acts which everyone can contribute in minimizing the spread of
COVID-19 in the community.
