1. Unzip image.zip file that you download.
2. Unzip ASUS Flash Tool Wind.zip file that you download.
3. Execute AFT_Wind.exe

After model selected, the tool will pop up message to inform that the tool will be re-executed to load
correct DA file; please tap OK to proceed.

Please click “OK” button. (The step is for ZC520TL only)
The tool will pop up message to guide how to inquire image SKU of your device and image type of
your device by lean eService system.

6. Click “Scatter File” button to set image path.
7. Please choose “MTXXXXX_Android_sctter.txt” in the image folder and then click Open button.

8. The tool will ask you to check if the image SKU of this device and image type of this device are correct
or not and it will pop up message again to guide how to inquire image SKU of your device and image
type of your device by lean eService system.
(a) If both are correct, please click “Yes & OK” button to go to next step.
(b) If not correct, please click “No & OK” button and then go back step 6 to reload correct image.

9. Make sure the device is power off first

14. Connect the device to PC by micro USB cable, when the tool is under status of below screenshot.
The tool will automatically scan COM-Ports and it will show Scan Success!!!

16. Please press volume down first and then re-plug USB cable to start flashing image after image loaded
successfully.You can release the volume down key when the tool start to flash image.
Note: The flashing process of MTK platform contains Unlock FRP function

qualcomm models.

2. Notice for tool path

Please make sure the path of MiniAST Wind folder can’t include below wording and symbol.

3. Check your computer is Test mode as below：
If devices in PC device manager with “exclamation mark” and can’t install driver successfully, follow
below three steps to disabled the driver signature enforcement in Windows. Then you can install any
unsigned drivers without problems.
3.1 Open a Command Prompt with admin privileges. In Windows 10/8.1/8, press the Windows key +
X and select “Command Prompt (admin)”. In Windows 7/XP/Vista, you can type “command
prompt” in the Start search box, right-click on “Command Prompt” in the result and select “run

3.2 Type the following command and press the Enter key:
BCDedit /set loadoptions DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS
BCDedit /set TESTSIGNING ON
You should receive the “The operation completed successfully” message.
3.3 Close the Command Prompt window and restart your computer.
Now you can install any unsigned drivers without problems.
3.4 Another way for win8/win10 to Disable Signed Driver Enforcement.

→ Click the Start menu and select Settings.
→ Click Update and Security.
→ Click on Recovery.
→ Click Restart now under Advanced Startup.
→ Click Troubleshoot.
→ Click Advanced options.
→ Click Startup Settings.
→ Click on Restart.
→ On the Startup Settings screen press 7 or F7 to disable driver signature enforcement.

4. How to fix ZC520TL showed Chinese menu when run AFT program
 Problem Description：
When Engineer used AFT to flash FW suddenly device show Chinese menu,
it is cause when update FW process , Engineer careless touch/press Power /Vol-Up button.
 Solution：for repair center L1L2

How to exit this factory mode test screen?
Press vol-down to go to reboot icon, then press power button to select function. If you
accidentally press the menu, please hold press the power button more than 10 seconds to
enforce device turn off.
