ABOUT K.U.S FORMWORK & SCAFFOLDING
K.U.S Formwork & Scaffolding, founded in 2010, specialises
in the sales & rental of Formwork & Scaffolding systems.
K.U.S Formwork & Scaffolding offers a comprehensive range
of Formwork & Scaffolding systems, including Modular
Scaffolding Systems (Ringlock System, Cuplock System &
Kwikstage System) as well as the Conventional Scaffolding
Systems (Frame System & Tubular System)
While focusing mainly on the construction industry for the
various building & civil infrastructure projects initially, K.U.S
Formwork & Scaffolding have moved aptly into supplying the
marine industry, which involves ship-building and repairing;
the chemical industry, which deals with power plants and
refineries; and the events management industry, which
specialises in erecting staging and seating.
With the added emphasis on efficiency and productivity of
the construction industry in Singapore in recent years, K.U.S
Formwork & Scaffolding has also invested into researching
and conducting in depth studies into the various Formwork
Systems globally, as part of the expansion plans to provide
an alternative to the conventional formwork methods.
The Aluminium Integrated Panels (AIP) System was thus
identified and developed. This will also be the first of many
Formwork Systems that will be launched in the near future.

FEATURES OF THE SYSTEM

Load Bearing Capacity

Due to its load-bearing flexibility, K.U.S OCTODECK System can
be adapted to bear loads of fresh concrete with adjustable props
for slabs of various thicknesses. It could be used for slab thickness
up to 500 mm, while still optimizing the use for cost-effectiveness.
The maximum floor height of 5.5 m can be achieved by using
heavy-duty props. For more than 5.5 m floor height, the K.U.S
Ringlock System can be used, which has a high load-carrying
capacity.

System Adaptability
K.U.S OCTODECK is an adaptive system. It can easily
accommodate any kind of structural and architectural requirements
(PT Slab, Waffle Slab, etc.).

K.U.S Fixed Table Head

Fixed Table Head is the component which connects table with
the adjustable prop. The connection is by a simple hammer
blow on the clamp, which ensures a rigid connection.

K.U.S Amphiply Premium

K.U.S Amphiply is manufactured from Wood Core of Eucalyptus
mixed with diverse types of hardwood glued by WBP, which
prolongs its service life.

K.U.S H20 Beam

H20 Beam is the strongest and the lightest formwork beam
made of engineered spruce wood, currently available in various
standard lengths. With the chords made of high-quality finger-
jointed timber and the Webs came with protective cap against
premature chipping on the chord ends, this ensures H20
Beam’s sustainability and durability in all climate zones.

K.U.S Adjustable Prop

The adjustable steel prop has a high load-bearing capacity
of 20 KN & 30 KN in accordance with EN 1065, suitable for
different floor heights. It comes with an adjustable thread and
slot hole, making it easy to install, dismantle, and accommodate
various floor heights. The component is manufactured with a
galvanised finish.

K.U.S has developed a light-weight Tableform system with

KUSAL ALUMINIUM BEAM

KUSAL Aluminium Beam is a high-grade aluminium extrusion

profile used in the Tableform to replace H-20 Beams.

The primary and secondary KUSAL beams are fixed together

with KUSAL Clip & T-Bolt. In addition, the Beam Clip plate is
made from high-strength steel securing the aluminium beams
together. The T-bolt is made from a special form of steel designed
for its head, which guides the T-bolt into the beam slot.
