This log book must accompany the complete engine at all times, including in the event of sale, hire or loan both at the constructor's and at the
operator's. It applies to all engine types, whether of modular design or not.

par une Attestation de Controle datee et signee (page ci-apres), que ce moteur :
- a ete assemble et essaye conformement au dossier d'entretien,

a regu les modifications et Service Bulletins mentionnes sur la page de la section A, sur les fiches matricules des modules (si
modulaire) et sur les fiches matricules des accessoires suivis
- repond bien aux renseignements divers explicites sur l'Attestation de Controle et en d'autres sections du livret, resultant de son
sejour en usine,
- a ete stocke comme indique sur l'Attestation de Controle,
- peut-etre mis en service sous reserve du respect des consignes des Manuels d'Entretien,
peut-etre mis en service sous reserve du respect des Consignes de Navigabilite reprises dans les Service Bulletins (pour les
moteurs civils uniquement).
At each delivery of an engine to the operator, the Manufacturer ( or maintenance organization) certifies and the Competent Authority
approves, by signed and dated Inspection Certificate (sheet hereafter), that the engine:
was assembled and tested in accordance with the maintenance documentation,

has been submitted to the modifications and Service Bulletins mentioned on the page - section A, on the module log cards (if modular) and
on the accessory log cards,
meets the various information indicated on the Inspection Certificate and in other sections of the log book, resulting from its stay in factory,
- has been stored as indicated on the Inspection Certificate,
can be run provided that the Maintenance Manual Instructions are complied with,
can be run provided that the Airworthiness Directives set out in the Service Bulletins are complied with (for civil engines only).

ACCESSORIES RECORD
Certains equipements montes sur un moteur sont SUiViS en utilisation. Lors de chaque livraison de moteur complet, l'industriel (ou l'organisme d'entretien)
renseigne la liste des equipements suivis. II rassemble dans cette section les fiches matricules affectees a ces equipements. Le potentiel de chacun de ces
equipements et les eventuelles limites d'utilisation de composants sont &finis par leftre service ou par le chapitre 5 du manuel de maintenance. La prevision de
depose dun equipement est calculee en fonction de la plus petite disponibilite a limite d'utilisation des composants de cet equipement. Tout changement
d'equipement en utilisation doit etre note dans cette section par l'utilisateur si equipement suivi par fiche matricule. L'utilisateur renseigne la reference et le numero
de serie de requipement depose et retire du livret moteur la fiche matricule associee. L'utilisateur renseigne la reference et le numero de serie de requipement pose
(reference et numero de serie) et insere dans le livret moteur la fiche matricule associee.
La liste des equipements non suivis par fiche matricule est donnee en annexe de cette section C.
Some equipment/accessories installed on an engine are traced in operation. On each delivery of a complete engine, the manufacturer (or the maintenance organism) fills in the
list of equipment/accessories to be followed up. They group the log cards assigned to those equipment/accessories in this section. The TBO for each equipment/accessory and
the eventual use limit of components are given by service letter or chapter 5 in maintenance manual. The removal of the equipment/accessory is scheduled according to the
shortest life limit of any component of the equipment/accessory in question. The operator must indicate in this section any change in equipment/accessory in use. The operator
writes the part number and serial number of the removed equipment/accessory and takes the associated log card off the engine log book. He then indicates the part number and
serial number of the installed equipment/accessory and inserts the associated log card into the engine log book.
The list of equipments not followed by log card is given in appendix of this section C.

AVAILABILITY STATUS
• L'industriel ou l'organisme d'entretien apres fabrication, revision ou reparation du moteur complet, ou l'utilisateur apres maintenance effectuant soit le
remplacement de pieces a vie limite ou de pieces a limite d'utilisation soit la restitution de limite calendaire soit une evolution de limite (vie limite, limite
d'utilisation ou limite calendaire), determine le terme de la periode d'utilisation autorisee pour ce moteur en etablissant un kat de disponibilite.
Pour les moteurs modulaires se reporter aux fiches matricules des modules et a la section "E" pour la disponibilite resultante.
The manufacturer or the maintenance organization after production, overhaul or repair of the complete engine, or the operator after a maintenance operation performing
either the replacement of life limited parts or usage limited parts or restitution of calendar limite either an evolution of limit (life limit, usage limit or calendar limit), determines the
end of the usage period authorized for that engine by setting-up an availability status.

OPERATION, MAINTENANCE AND OVERHAUL
•
Le fonctionnement total depuis neuf d'un moteur modulaire ou non modulaire est suivi par le numero de serie du moteur. Pour programmer ses
interventions, l'utilisateur tient compte des suivis specifiques du moteur ou module.
- II cumule le fonctionnement total pour les remplaceinents des equipements.
- II calcule par soustraction la disponibilite des suivis specifiques.
- II mentionne les anomalies de fonctionnement, les travaux d'entretien accomplis et les visites periodiques.
L'ensemble de ces operations s'effectue sous l'entiere responsabilite de l'utilisateur.
Apres chaque sejour du moteur complet en usine, l'industriel ou l'organisme d'entretien actualise le fonctionnement moteur et signale les travaux de
reparation effectues.
The overall operating time of a modular or non modular engine from initial delivery is traced by the engine serial number. In order to plan actions, the operator takes into
account the specific follow-ups of the engine or module.
- He accumulates the overall operating time in the case of equipment/accessory replacement.
- He calculates by substraction the availability of the specific follow-ups.
- He indicates the discrepancies in operation, the maintenance procedures carried out and the periodic inspections.
All these operations are carried out under the operator's entire responsibility.
Every time the engine leaves the factory, the manufacturer or the maintenance organism up-dates the engine operation and indicates the repairs that have been carried
