This study aimed to determine the effects of playing

Mobile Legends to the behavior of Junior High School

students enrolled at Sapang High School. Specifically, it

sought to answer the following questions: 1. What is the

demographic profile of the respondent in terms of sex and

age; 2. How frequent does the respondents play Mobile

Legends in a day and in a week; 3. What are the factors that

drives the students to play mobile legends; 4. What are the

effects of mobile legends in relation to the following:

self, family, peers, and studies; and 5. What are the

implications of the study to the Moral Development?

Description method was used to determine the effects of

playing Mobile Legends to the behavior of the respondents.

The number of respondents was delimited to 100 students who

were purposively selected, coming from Grade 7 – 10 at

Sapang High School during the S.Y. 2019 – 2020.

xi

They were given a questionnaire which has four parts:

about the demographic profile of the respondents, the

frequency or average time they consumed in playing Mobile

Legends, the causes, and the effects of playing Mobile

Legends to the respondents themselves, their families,

peers, and studies.

Research findings revealed that playing Mobile Legends

can result to having an aggressive behavior. It directly

affects their health, their relationship on their parents

and peers, and also their academic status.

Based on the salient findings and conclusions, it was

recommended to the students to use it properly in a proper

place, proper person who are they with and in a proper time.

School administration should set some recreational

activities for the students to divert their attention in

meaningful activities.
