Title “Financial Savings through Fixed Assets Management”

The project aimed at formulating new strategies to dispose off the fixed assets
Project Aim which are not in operational use and to make financial savings.

Duration 2 months

Project Description:

 The project on “Financial Savings through Fixed Asset Management” mainly

focuses on discarding or removing of those Fixed Assets, which are not used in
the current operational process or which are idle.

 The project also concentrates on those assets, which are high on the maintenance
cost. It mainly focuses on identification and then disposal of the assets which are
idle or which are frequently under repairs eventually increasing the operating cost
for production.

Roles and Responsibilities:

 As a Role of Fixed Asset Manager, I was scheduled to visit major manufacturing plants of the
company. Was responsible for the physical Analysis of the major Fixed Assets situated at
Dolvi Plant.

 Was primarily responsible for the formulation of strategies for disposal of assets which are
Idle or which are not in the production use and to check whether the method of
 depreciation for the FIXED ASSETS is appropriate as per the Companies Act, 1956 and also
to review the Fixed Asset Register and to check for any errors in the register.
