INTRODUCTION

Welcome to Agricultural Crops Production NC II: Care and Maintain Crops. This module is under
the cluster of COC 3: Care and Maintain Crops. In this module you will learn practices required
for a vegetable crop growing in the field include pest control measures, fertilizer application,
irrigation, pruning and plant rejuvenation and proper cultivation.

OBJECTIVES

At the end of this module, you should be able to:


1. Apply practices required for a vegetable crop growing in the field.
2. Perform pruning and physical growth enhancing practices.
3. Prepare the necessary tools and followed Safety procedures according to Occupational Safety and
Health Standards.
