Lin: We usually eat Zongzi, a kind of food made of glutinous rice wrapped in bamboo leaves.

Lin: There are many people participating in the dragon boat races. Rows of dragons strive to take the lead.
The river rings with fervent cheers of "Go! Row! Go! Row!" to the rhythm of the athletes’ oars.

Other Dragon Boat Festival Traditions

• 5-colored silk-threaded braid (五色绳)
In some regions of China, parents braid silk threads of five
colors and put them on their children's wrists at the Dragon Boat
Festival. People believe that this will help keep evil spirits and
disease away.

• Realgar wine (雄黄酒)

Realgar wine or xionghuang wine is a Chinese alcoholic drink
that is made from Chinese yellow wine dosed with powdered realgar. ★8
