How useful was it: Not useful because there was already poison
inside the victim and it couldn’t be removed that easily

Why it was used: As a medicine
How useful was it: Good for clearly out bodily systems

Why it was used: To cure the plague
How useful was it: More harmful than useful

Treatment: Leeches
Why it was used: Draw out blood
How useful was it: Not very useful The thought was to allow the
disease to leave the body

Treatment: Rubbing chopped up snake head


Why it was used: Transfer the disease
How useful was it: Not useful
