The new year brings about a chance of
reflection, as well as a chance to move
forward. I thank God for all the blessings
we received in 2010, especially all the
lives we have seen saved. I am thankful
for all the new families God has brought
us recently. I know 2011 is going to be
even better. If we stand in one mind and
one accord, and believe that God can do
great things. He Will!! Begin today
praying that God will move in a mighty
way. “Ask and you shall receive. Seek
and you shall find. Knock and the door
shall be opened unto you.

Williamson. Christie and Jennifer will
also be leading our praise and worship.
We will break for Lunch and fellowship
and continue the conference in the
afternoon.

Happy New Year! As we begin 2011,
let’s take time to reflect back on 2010 to
all the blessings that God has given to us
during the year. Then we should take
time to prepare our hearts for all the new
blessings that God has in store for us.
God want s us to prosper in this
upcoming year. Let ‘s open our hearts to
all He has t o offer. God Bless

Sunday School
What’s the best resolution you could
make for the new year that will last for
the rest of their life? Praising God and
leading people in the direction of
knowing Christ. Invite them to Sunday
School. Southern Baptist Association
studies show if a person is coming to
Sunday School they are likely to accept
Christ and join the church later. So its
easy to say come to Sunday School with
me. Talk about the discussion of
previous lessons, and how they help in
everyday life. See you in Sunday School
and help lead someone to the gift of
eternal life.

Special Services - Kelley Wright
Happy New Year! What an awesome
Christmas we had. God blessed in so
many ways. We had great turn outs to go
caroling at the nursing homes and then in
the community. I was very impressed to
see the number of youth we had to show
up! The program on the 19th was such a
blessing to me. I heard that someone said
after the service, "Now it feels like
Christmas!". I didn't get to attend the
other services but heard wonderful things
about them.
January 2011
January will be quiet for the special
services department. But that doesn't
mean there will be nothing to do! The
Ladies' Conference on the 15th is almost
here. I hope all our ladies will come and
bring some friends. This is always such a
wonderful conference. You don't want to
miss the blessing.
The next event on the calendar will be the
Valentine Banquet on Feb. 13. You will
be hearing more about that as plans are
made.

Children in Action (CIA)
We are so excited about Wednesday
nights! The CIA is for kids in the first
through the sixth grade. We are learning
about missionaries and the work they do
and also how we can do mission work
right here at home. Please come and join
us. We have a blast and you can learn a
lot and earn “Bible Bucks” to spend at the
Bible Bucks store at the end of every
month. There are several ways to earn
those Bible Bucks....come and join us.

Musical Notes
Judy Stocks
It is hard to believe that it is already a
new year. We have been here at the
January 2011
church for almost a year now and I have
to say it has been the best year we have
had in a long time. Although there have
been challenges in our life, God has
blessed us beyond measure with the love
and support of everyone. I know there are
no "perfect" churches, but I believe we
are as close as you can get with the unity
we have felt and experienced since we
have been here. I would like to thank all
that have been a part of the choir and
been so dedicated to come to practice and
be willing to sing specials when I have
asked them to. We have a great group of
people here to work with and we consider
it to be an honor and privilege to be here
and serve together. I am so excited to see
what God has in store for us in this new
year. If you would like to join us in the
choir or have a song you would like to
sing, please come and let me know. We
will begin our last Sunday night singings
again on January 30, at 5 p.m. so make
your plans now to come join us. We will
have individuals to sing, choir specials
and you never know when we will have a
special visitor to come and sing for us.
The spirit is moving in our services and
you don't want to miss out, so decide now
to let God have His way in your life this
year and find out where He wants you to
get involved and serve. Let's make 2011
another great year.

Church Fund Raiser
“Play Ground Project”
Brooke Baird, Director
We still have those traditional Cook
Books to sell. We are encouraging our
members to “sign out” and sell a number
of Cook Books to help with the fund
raising. Please call Brooke Baird, who
has been elected the Director of the Play
Ground Project, at 249-3910, to help
with this much needed fund raiser.
Business Meetings
Business meetings are held the
second Monday of every month at 6:00
pm. Please bring a covered dish for
supper and fellowship before the
meeting.

Yoder’s Family Traditions
Debe Hooley from Yoder’s Family
Traditions and Gifts is offering various
craft classes at her shop. We encourage
you to stop by and visit Debe. See her
collection of unique jams and jellies and
much more. Call Debe at 245-7345
Neighborhood Watch
The monthly meeting for the Community
Neighborhood Watch is held on the 3rd
Thursday of each month at 6:30 pm in
the Weogufka School Lunchroom. All
area residents are invited to attend. Just
bring a covered dish for supper.

Story Time
ME
In all the world, there is no one exactly
like me.
Everything that comes out of me is
authentically mine because I alone choose
it. I own everything about me. My Body,
my feelings, my mouth, my voice, all my
actions, it’s me.
I own my fantasies, my dreams, my hopes,
my fears. I own all my successes, failures
and mistakes.
Because I own all of me, I can become
personally acquainted with me. By doing
this, I can love me and be friendly with
me.
I know there are things about me that
puzzle me, but as long as I am friendly and
loving to myself, I can courageously and
hopefully look for solutions to the failures
in me. How ever I look or sound,
whatever I say and do, whatever I think
and feel at any given moment is
authentically me!
If sometimes the way I look or sound turn
out to be unfitting, I can discard that
which is unfitting, I can discard that which
is unfitting, keep the rest, and invent
something new for me.
I can see, hear, feel, think, say and do...I
have the will to survive, to choose to be
close t o others, to work and to make sense
and order out of the world of people and
things outside of me. I own me and for
what that is worth I love me and I am
OKAY because GOD made me!
