Superintendent's Office This, the first R.I.C.S. yearbook, appears at the end of the school's ninth year, and a milestone year it has been. Having always thought of ourselves as a very small school, wo were sur- prised to find that our enrolluent Jumped alnost fifty percent during 1973-74 to two hundred and fifty. The Boys' School out= grow the old building and found new quarters; four gicls' classes immediately moved into the building the boys had vacated and a grand reshuffling took place to Liven up the winter trimester. AL1 signs and portents point to an even larger enroliment for next year and the School Board plans new buildings to house a total of four hundred students in 1975-76. We have a classic case of growing pains. We think, though, that it 4s possible to grow and stilt keep our small school mentality. To know all of our students by nano; to be able to follow the individual progress of each Special English student in loarning and working in a brand new language; to be close enough to be able to share in each other's activities in and out of school--these are some of the R.I.C.S. traditions we nover want to change. “Klong line of parents, teachers and children have cone and Sone over the past nine years and the character of the school has been their legacy. It has been our pride to be the focus of activities for the students of the international community and it is our hope that we will always remain so.
