Steve Jobs
Steve Jobs was the chairman, CEO, and co-founder of Apple Inc. which currently
has a net worth of over 1 Trillion dollars. Steve Jobs' vision of a "computer for the

Peter Jones
Peter David Jones, CBE (born 18 March 1966) is a British entrepreneur,
businessman and reality television personality with interests in mobile phones,
television, media, leisure, retail, and property.
He was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in the
2009 New Year Honours. A profile in the Sunday Times Rich List 2013 estimated
his wealth at GB£475 million.
He set up a business in which he made personal computers under his own brand
when he was only 16 years old. However, he lost £200,000 after deciding to sell it
to IBM. In his mid-twenties, he opened a cocktail bar in Windsor based on the
Tom Cruise film Cocktail.
After Siemens acquisition, he set up his next venture Phones International Group
in April 1998.
In the summer of 2005, Jones, together with Theo Paphitis, a fellow panelist on
Dragons' Den, bought gift experience company Red Letter Days from another
fellow panelist Rachel Elnaugh, under whose ownership it had collapsed.
In 2009, Jones founded the Peter Jones Enterprise Academy (PJEA, formerly
NEA) to teach entrepreneurial capabilities within the UK.

Steve Case
Stephen McConnell Case is an American entrepreneur, investor, and
businessman best known as the former chief executive officer and chairman of
America Online.
With a net worth of 1.4 Billion dollars, Steve Case co-founded the investment firm
Revolution, which has invested in over 50 companies.
Revolution has also invested in restaurant chain Sweetgreen, fantasy sports firm
DraftKings and wine retailer Vinfolio.
In 1985 Case helped found Quantum Computer Services. He became CEO in
1991 and changed its name to America Online (AOL).
AOL merged with Time Warner in 2001 in a $164 billion deal that was eventually
deemed one of the worst mergers in history.
On October 28th 2019 Steve Case launched a second $150 million ‘Rise of the
rest’ fund to back Entrepreneurs across the US.

Walt Disney
Walter Elias "Walt'' Disney was an American entrepreneur, illustrator, artist, voice
entertainer, and filmmaker. As a conspicuous figure inside the American liveliness

Thomas Edison, a leader of American innovation, was responsible for developing


many modern devices. He rose from humble beginnings to work as an inventor of
major technology. He created the first organized industrial research laboratory
where he and a team of scientists and innovators brought to life home electricity.
He is credited with inventions such as the first practical incandescent light bulb
and the phonography. He held over 1,000 patents for his inventions.
By the time he died, Edison was one of the most well-known and respected
Americans in the world. He had been at the forefront of America’s first
technological revolution and set the stage for the modern electric world.

Calvin Klein

Calvin Klein is a founder of Calvin Klein Ltd. He studied fashion in New York City
and apprenticed for a suit manufacturer. In 1968, he and Barry Schwartz opened
their own company, with Schwartz running the business side of things and Klein
responsible for design and artistic vision. The label was initially recognized for
suits and coats, but Klein's sportswear line became popular as well. He received
three Coty Awards for womenswear and the business eventually expanded to
include menswear, jeans, cosmetics, fragrances, and home collections.
When he won his first of three Coty American Fashion Critics' Awards in 1973, he
became the youngest designer ever to receive the honor. Two years later, he
became the youngest designer ever voted into the organization's Hall of Fame.

Michael Newton

Michael Newton founded DM in 1982, and the company is now a global giant in
the multi-channel digital video recorder market. In the year to June 2003, AD
Holdings made £25.2m on £72.5m in sales.
“Michael Newton is set to be the first CCTV billionaire,” the judges said. In 1985
he invented a multi-channel CCTV recorder, which was an instant hit. He didn’t
listen when doubters said that remote viewing of CCTV over ISDN lines would not
take off. That is now the fastest-growing part of his business. In April last year AD
Holdings topped the Deloitte Indy 100 Awards for the UK’s fastest-growing
companies, with a compound growth rate of 170 percent over the previous four
years, which judges described as “extraordinary and sustained growth”.
Newton is also a long-term motor racing enthusiast and participant, having been
involved in the sport as a driver since 1985. He has driven in the world-famous Le
Mans 24 Hour race and finished in the top four of The champion of Oulton
Formula Ford 1600 series from 1995 to 1997.
