Introduction:
This document was written to provide you with an example configuration that will allow
you to remotely access, program, and control a C-more operator interface and a DirectLogic PLC
using MOXA’s OnCell G3110 Cellular IP Gateways. These procedures can be applied to any
application which requires access to a remote LAN within a cell tower reception zone.
System Overview:
Hardware:
To configure the OnCell 3110 you must be plugged into the local network. Plug into EDS-
205 to and bring up Internet Explorer. Type in the IP address 192.168.127.254. The Moxa
configuration should appear. If you wish to change the IP address of the OnCell this can be
done in the “Basic Network Settings” as seen below. We left the default IP address for our
application.
CrossBridge Solutions will supply you with an APN name that must be entered into the
OnCell device before it will communicate with CrossBridge. Enter the APN name in the GSM
GPRS Settings as shown below:
Finally setup port forwarding in the Virtual Server Settings as shown here:
Save configuration and Restart OnCell unit. After the unit powers up you should now have the
GSM and the GPRS lights “ON”.
