O R D E R:

Whereas, in the G.O. 2nd read above, Government have issued a

Preliminary Notification for amending Rule-9 of the Telangana Charitable and
Hindu Religious Institutions and Endowments Office Holders and Servants Service
Rules, 2000, enhancing the age of superannuation of “Ultharai Servants” from 58
years to 65 years;

2. And whereas, in the representations 3rd read above, certain objections/

suggestions have been received;

3. And whereas, the Andhra Pradesh Charitable and Hindu Religious

Institutions and Endowments Act,1987 (Act No.30 of 1987) has been adopted to
the State of Telangana vide the notification issued in the G.O.8th read above and
the rules made therein have also been adopted in the G.O. 9th read above;

4. Now, the Government after due consideration of the objections and

suggestions and careful examination of the matter, have decided to issue Final
Notification in the matter, with prospective effect;

5. Accordingly, the following notification will be published in an Extraordinary

issue of the Telangana Gazette, Dated:19.09.2018:

FINAL NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (4) of section 35

read with section 153 of the Telangana Charitable and Hindu Religious
Institutions and Endowments Act, 1987 (Act No.30 of 1987), the Government
of Telangana hereby makes the following amendment to the Telangana
Charitable and Hindu Religious Institutions and Endowments Office Holders
and Servants Service Rules, 2000 issued in G.O.Ms.No.888, Revenue
(Endowments-I) Dept., Dt:08-12-2000 and published in the Rules
Supplement to Part-I Extraordinary issue of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette
 :: 02 ::

No.51, Dated:21-12-2000, and as amended, subsequently from time to time,

as required under sub-section (1) of section 153 of the said Act:

AMENDMENT

In the said rules, for rule 9, the following shall be substituted, namely-,

“9. Age of Superannuation: (i) The age of Superannuation of every office

holder or Servant shall be fifty eight years;

(ii) The age of superannuation of Attenders and Watchmen shall be

sixty years;
(iii) The age of superannuation of Ultharai servants shall be sixty five
years. However, if a particular Ultharai servant is found physically unfit, he
may be retired from service before attaining that age, only after proper
medical examination.

6. These orders shall come into force with prospective effect i.e., from the
date of issue of these orders.
