1 Check the cables size ,type and tag no. are correct

2 check the cables marking/phasing are correct

3 check that all cable glands are terminated satisfactory

4 check that all cables are terminated satisfactory from both sides

5 check for cable laying route as per approved documents

Check cables are dressed , tied and secured properly.

6 In case of outdoor laying , suitable clamps/tie-raps must be used.

7 check that the cable trays/conduits are free of dents , dirt and sharp edges before pulling

8 Check the distance between control cable and power cables within the allowable range

check that marking tape or red tiles are installed after compacted fine sand layer for
9 direct buried cables .

10 Check for cable bending meet manufacture's minimum allowable bending radius

11 Check for any visual damage in cable insulation

12 check that all block outs has been sealed with suitable material (fire rated is preferable)

13 Check drawing marked up (As-built) if any changes made.
