Alexander Mondragón: He is from Barranquilla, he is a very happy and friendly person,
his clothing is always very casual and relaxed. He wears black jeans, a gray T-shirt
and pink button-down open shirt and black sunglasses.

Alicia Cruz: She is from Bogotá, she is an athlete and disciplined. His style is sporty
and that´s why I like to wear jeans and tennis. She is wearing a White shirt with mint
sleeves, ice jeans and White sunglasses.

Sergio Contreras: He is from Bucaramanga, he is a Young traveler, he likes to know

new places and different cultures. He is wearing a beige bermuda shorts, a light gray
T-shirt, a ligth blue open button down shirt and black sunglasses.

Laura Barrios: She is from Medellín, she is very intelligent, determined and hard –
working. She is very friendly and attentive to her Friends. She likes to be fashionable
and dress very well. She is wearing a black high waisted jeans, a black and White
striped top and black sunglsses.

Highway via Cartagena.
4. What can you do there?
In Cartagena we can do many things, such as going to the beach, visiting the
Aquarium, going dancing and eating in Good restaurants.
5. What are they doing? (present progressive)
They are on their way to visit the San Felipe castle.
6. What did they do yesterday?
Yesterday they went to visit the aquiarium of San Martin. They had lunch in a typical
restaurant and in the afternoon they went to the beach.
7. What are they planning to do tomorrow?
In the morning they Will visit the Gold museum and have lunch in the plaza
Santodomingo and in the afternoon take a walk around the city.

Allen: He is afro, tall, thin, athletic, dark curly hair, he wears a red jumpsuit, a gray polo shirt
and jeans, he is fun and likes to travel.
Isabel: She is white skinned, medium height, blonde hair, wears a white shirt with green and
jean, she is happy, she likes to dance and share with her friends, she goes to college to
study nursing.
Victor: He is white skinned, he is tall, thin, athletic, he has comfortable clothes, beige shorts
and a gray polo shirt, he is Isa's study partner, he likes to travel and get to know the country,
he is applied in his studies.
Belen: She is Caucasian skinned, with long brown hair, medium height, wears a black shirt
with black jean, is a friend of the boys for several years, she studies dentistry, she likes rock
music, she is happy and she loves her family.

This photo was in the past vacations, the boys agreed to spend a few days in the Tatacoa
Desert, located in Huila in southwestern Colombia, it is the second largest desert area in
Colombia.
What can you do there?
It was a tropical dry forest in its beginnings, but with climatic changes it became a semi-arid
desert with a dry warm climate.
It has 330 kilometers of geological formations, with a landscape in brown, ocher and gray
tones, which makes it a natural setting with a unique attraction in the world.
It is an area rich in fossil deposits. There is little animal and plant life, but very well adapted,
this due to erosion, low humidity and high temperatures that reach 35 degrees Celsius.
It is considered a natural astronomical observatory due to the absence of sound and light
pollution in the area.
From this desert 88 constellations, meteor showers and different astronomical events can
be observed.

The boys are on their way to the desert and decide to take a photo for the memory.

The boys met yesterday afternoon in a cafe to square the time of departure and fix details

What are they planning to do tomorrow?
 Tomorrow they get up early and after breakfast they will make a tour of no more than 15 kl

will be able to see fossils.
