A.What is preposition of place??

Prepositions can be used to show where something is located.

 Kinds of prepositions of place :


- in - beside - outside
- on - between - through
- under - next to - opposite
- in front of - above
- behind - across from
- near - inside

Prepositions of place and direction!

in front of the part that is in the direction it faces

2. Untuk menanyakan letak benda atau barang yang jumlahnya lebih dari satu
atau banyak.

Pertanyaan : Where + are + the + subject (nama barang)?


Jawaban : Subject ( nama barang) + are + preposition+the +tempat
benda berada.

Example (Contoh ):

A. Alice : “Where are the three apples?”


Ricky: “ The three apples are in the box.”

B. Jhony : “ Where are the manggoes?”

3. Untuk menebak posisi benda yang sesungguhnya digunakan:

Jika jumlahnya hanya satu digunakan:

Pertanyaan : “ is + the + Subject ( benda ) + on the table?


Jawaban : “ Yes, it is. (jika benar)
Atau
“ No, it is not.” It is under the table.”(jika salah)

Example (contoh) :
