Since its inception in 2000, the Center’s mission has been to present the people and
events that have made up the history of the whole county in a yearly exhibit.
The board members, Claudia Sikes, Pam Schmidt, Anita Bowers, Bobbie Dreier,
Michael Allen, Ed Bliss, and Gordy Caswell would like to thank the Park Service,
Olmstead Ranger Branden Holksra, and Ginkgo/Wanapum Area Manager Ranger Jim
Mitchell for their help in making items from the Olmstead collection available for this
years display. Without their help and that of other area museums and individuals in
the past, the Center would be hard pressed to fulfill its mission.
For anyone seeking information on Heritage Center activities, please contact: Board
President Gordy Caswell at caz@fairpoint.net or any of the other board members.

he late-great singer Patsy Cline will always be a legend. She
achieved phenomenal success with her #1 Juke Box Record
“Crazy”; her status as #1 Female Artist 1961 and 1962; and,
her #1 Song of 1962 “I Fall to Pieces.” Oh how we miss this 60s
diva of Western music.
Ladies and gentlemen, Kittitas County Fair is proud to present
a Tribute to Patsy Cline, by newcomer Jeanne Coady — a Central
Washington sweetheart — who delivers the music of Patsy Cline
with power and passion. Swing with your darling to your favorite
