The Undine® technique
Undine mixes water and air under pressure:

• air 6 - 8 bar

• water 2 - 60 bar
E = 1/2M x V²

The very high speed of the flow is intensifying the cleaning effect
Very small water droplets (‘needles’) penetrate the dirt

In 2007 IWC introduced the Septa Turbo for Canada and the USA for the
“brush type” in and outside bird washer:

• Compared cleaning performance was 25000 liters/10 bar original with a

good performance to 6300 liters/10 bar water pressure with the Septa Turbo
with the same performance

• Just behind the Pluckers an outside washer

• Just behind the Eviscerator an out to inside washer
• Just behind the Cropper an in to outside washer
• Retrofit the original in & outside bird washer and move the outside washer
part
• Just behind the original in and outside bird washer an inline In & Outside

This application delivers the best performance on hygiene with the
highest water saving. The Undine unit is placed inline just behind the
pluckers. The Undine unit uses approx. 1.400 litres of water per hour.

The Undine unit uses approx. 2.500 litres per hour.
