Engineering Controls
Chemical goggles. It is generally recognized that contact lenses should not be worn when working with chemicals
because they may contribute to the severity of an eye injury.
Avoid skin contact. Wear rubber gloves, long sleeve shirt, trousers, safety shoes and rubber apron.
Use NIOSH approved respirator appropriate for the vapor or mist at the point of use. Not normally needed unless
product is heated or misted.
Personal protective equipment should be selected based upon the conditions under which this material is used. A
hazard assessment of the work area for PPE requirements should be conducted by a qualified professional
pursuant to OSHA regulations.
