 Level 1 of the course develops a broad range of music production skills on DAWs, with a focus on music

programming, sound synthesis, sampling and basic recording techniques. You will build proficiency in playing
keyboards/piano and gain a comprehensive understanding of music theory (harmony, solfeggi and ear training).
You will also engage in a number of collaborative projects that develop professionalism, leadership, communication
and team skills.

Level 2 of the course focuses on the development of arranging skills in different musical styles, professional

recording studio operations, advanced use of music notation software, mixing skills and electronic music
production. You will further expand your proficiency in keyboards/piano playing and develop a comprehensive
understanding of advanced contemporary harmony. Through collaborative work and peer assessments, you will
develop critical and analytical thinking, and problem solving skills.

Level 3 of the course develops a solid command of composition techniques, a broad understanding of different

you will develop the ability to discern the quality of produced music using well established criteria, research and
critically assess composition and production practices, and develop your very own unique methods to compose

These once-a-week sessions are designed to expose you to
new music and new artists. Every week, a Pro teacher will
prepare a playlist on a different topic. This could be based
on a particular genre of music, an artist, a production style,
etc. The teacher plays the music and guides you through the
different elements of the songs selected.
MASTERCLASSES
Every week, a pro-teacher will conduct a Masterclass
on a different topic. These classes are not compulsory
but you can attend it based on your interest. We also
get people from the industry to conduct a Masterclass.

101 SESSIONS
101 sessions function as additional learning
opportunities outside of your core curriculum that cover a
number of relevant topics associated with professional
music. You may choose up to two 101 sessions of your
interest in each term from the available list.
ACCESS TO PRACTICE
Students also get access to the facility for practice. Every
student gets unlimited spot bookings and a certain number
of advanced booking hours per week. There is no additional
cost for using the facility.
