Subject: Document Verification and Provisional Offer of Engagement as Apprentice ITI (Electrical) in
POWERGRID NR-I as per the Apprentices Act, 1961 and its subsequent amendments and Rules.

Dear Candidate,

Based on the details furnished by you in your Online application form, you have been provisionally
shortlisted for Apprenticeship in POWERGRID NR-I subject to terms & conditions and provisions as
stipulated in The Apprentices Act, 1961, its subsequent amendments and Rules. However, Final Offer
to join shall be made only in the Order of Merit.

1. You are required to submit a Physical Fitness Certificate from a Medical Officer not below the rank of
an Assistant Surgeon (Gazetted) in the prescribed format enclosed, at the time of reporting for joining.
The standard format of physical fitness for Apprentice Training is enclosed as (Annexure-A).
2. At the time of reporting you should bring with you the following documents in Original, without which
you will not be allowed to join:
a. All Original Mark sheet(s) & Degree/Diploma Certificate(s) showing the class/division/marks awarded
by the Board/Institute along with one set of self-attested photocopies thereof. Proof of norms
adopted by the University/ Institute to convert CGPA/OGPA/DGPA into percentage.
b. A relieving letter from your present employer, if serving.
c. Caste/ Category, if applicable, latest certificate shall be produced in the prescribed GOI format in
original and one self-attested photocopy (Annexure-B).
d. Character Certificate from two different persons in the prescribed format enclosed (Annexure-C).
e. Print Out/Screenshot of Apprentice Profile from Login at apprenticeshipindia.org/NATS website,
indicating your name, apprenticeship registration ID etc.
f. Duly filled E-payment details form (Annexure-D) along with the copy of PAN CARD and Cancelled
Cheque/Bank Passbook.
g. 4 No. of Recent passport size colour photographs and Aadhar Card with one self-attested photocopy.
3. In the event of your accepting this provisional offer as stated above, the duplicate copy of this
(Annexure-E) may be signed and sent via e-mail to apprentice_nr1@powergrid.co.in immediately.
4. If any declaration given or information furnished by you proves to be false or In case it is detected at
any stage (Before/After) of engagement/selection process that case you do not fulfil the eligibility
criteria and/or not comply with other requirements as per advertisement/notification and/or you
have furnished any incorrect/ false information or have suppressed any material facts, your
candidature is liable to be rejected and/or you will be liable for removal from Apprenticeship training
forthwith without any notice whatsoever and without assigning any reason thereof or/ and such
action as the company may deem necessary.

5. Post verification, the training will be subject to maximum period of 12 months and it can be
discontinued as per the provisions of the Apprenticeship Act/Rules. During the training period you will
be given a consolidated monthly stipend of Rs. 11,000/- (Rupees Eleven Thousand Only) + House Rent
Allowance of Rs. 2,500/- (Rupees Two Thousand Five Hundred Only in case, Accommodation is not
being provided by POWERGRID). The Company’s Provident Fund and Gratuity Scheme shall not apply
to you during the training period.

6. The above offer is subject to your meeting the prescribed criteria for engagement of Apprenticeship
Training as stipulated in the Apprentices Act, 1961 and its subsequent amendments and Rules and
does not make it obligatory to provide full time employment in POWERGRID on completion of
apprenticeship.

7. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in Document verification/joining.

8. Any further request to change/extend the reporting date as mentioned below, shall not be
entertained.

On successful completion of Document verification & thereafter joining formalities, you shall be
required to report immediately for Apprentice Training at any one of Sub-Stations of POWERGRID
Northern Region-I (Seats vacant only in Delhi, Haryana, Uttarakhand & Rajasthan) for a period of 12
months. Accordingly, you should come with proper bag and baggage. For any query/assistance
