About Go-kart Club
Go-kart club is an enthusiastic group, driven by students and guided by faculties of Mechanical Engineering
department. The club facilitate the students to compete and perform at State and National level events. The students at the

club can try out their new ideas and make it a lesson for others to learn and develop for themselves. Club’s main goal is to

expose the students to engineering by organizing student competitions, setting up industry tours, and bringing speakers to
the club. The Club is designed to help Engineering students of all discipline to gain the connections and experience they

need to be successful in college and after graduation.

Aim
● To encourage and enrich the ingenuity and imagination among the students of the club and to give an idea on latest

technologies in the field of design to the members of the club.

● To give a hands on experience on different prototypes

being made in the club.

● To give exposure to the students about different

software’s that are being currently used in the design sector.

Target
● To develop a Go-kart indigenously and perform analysis for the

betterment of the same.

● To develop a Go-kart team and participate in State level and National

level competitions.

● The students will get an opportunity to study different modelling

software’s such as AUTOCAD, AUTODESK INVENTOR, PRO-E,

SOLIDWORKS and analysis software’s such as ANSYS, ABAQUS.

● To conduct workshops and seminars on latest trends in the design

field. The club helps its members for internships and placement preparation in the future.
Events Planned:
Go-kart racing, Mechanical Treasure Hunt etc.
