‫دعى ناِي ْي َن‬ ٍ

Jesus went with his disciples to the village of َ ُ‫َذ َه َب َي ُسوعُ إَلى َب َلدة ت‬
‫حم ُل‬‫ي‬ ‫ا‬
ً ‫ت‬ ِ‫ َرأى شاباً م‬،‫الب َلد ِة‬
‫ي‬ ِ ‫اقت ارِب ِه ِمن بواب‬
‫ة‬ ِ
Nain. A funeral procession was coming out as
َ ُ ّ َ ْ َ َ ّ َ ْ
he approached the village gate. The young man ‫ُم ِه‬
ِ ‫ وَقد كان و ِحيد أ‬،‫خارِج البلد ِة‬
ّ َ َ َ ْ َ َ َ ِ ِ ‫إَلى‬
who had died was a widow’s only son. .‫األرمَلة‬
َ
When the Lord saw her, his heart
overflowed with compassion.
“Don’t cry!” he said.

َ ‫الر ُّب تَ َحَّن َن َعَليها َو‬

‫ «ال‬:‫قال َلها‬ َّ ‫َفَل ّما َرآها‬
».‫بكي‬ ِ َ‫ت‬
Then he walked over to the coffin and touched ‫ « ُّأيها‬:ُ‫قال َي ُسوع‬
َ ‫ ثُ َّم‬.‫وت‬
َ ‫َواقتَ َر َب َوَل َم َس التّ ُاب‬
it. “Young man,” he said, “I tell you, get up.” »!‫ض‬ ْ ‫انه‬َ ،‫ول َل َك‬ ُ ‫أنا أُق‬،‫اب‬ ُّ ‫الش‬ّ
Then the dead boy sat up and began to talk! ‫ َف َرَّدهُ َي ُسوعُ إَلى‬.‫ َوَب َدأ َيتَ َكَّل ُم‬،ً‫المِّي ُت ُمعتَِدال‬
َ ‫َف َجَِل َس‬
.‫ُمه‬ ِ
ّ‫أ‬
And Jesus gave him back to his mother.
