Having finished four years of studies in psychology at the Ludwigs-Maximilians


University in Munich, I wish to supplement my studies with an internship in personal
development and human resource management.

As you can see from my enclosed resumé, I have extensive experience in personal- and
organizational development, especially in human resource management, as well as
marketing and research. I am very interested in using these skills at Daimler in New Jersey.
Special knowledge I can offer in team diagnostics, leadership analysis and online-survey
construction, as part of my diploma and research employment. Furthermore the
development of workshops and trainings was part of my education at the university as well
as the internship at … .

Throughout my nine years of schooling, I had English language instruction and therefore
my English will be adequate for working at your company. In addition to my business
studies, I am improving my language skills through different projects and studies at the
department of psychology in Munich, which should prove to be beneficial considering
your company’s current projects.

Preferably, the internship should last about five months, with a starting date between
April 2011 and May 2011. For my duration in the USA I will request a J-1 cultural
exchange visa. This will entitle me to work legally in the United States. Additionally, I
will ask for support by an exchange organisation, that has complementary health and
accident insurance cover.
