W = Polythene dumped in the soil tends to harm microorganisms that live on

soil; polythene has chemicals that are toxic to plants, and organisms within the
soil particles.
Polythene is also harmful to marine and aquatic life, and generally to any life
around water bodies. Once polythene has been soaked in water for long, it
releases chemicals that are harmful to the flora and fauna. Polythene in marine
eco systems is always a disaster.

O = Lightweight and Durable: -

Polythene bags are lightweight and durable. This accounts for their wide use,
for instance, if you need to ship a heavy item that needs to be protected,
covering such item with yet a heavy material would not help the shipping cost
using. But when you choose to use the polythene bags for the shipping, it will
offer the necessary protection without adding unnecessary weight to the item.
More so, polythene bags would not use up unnecessary storage space. Even
when you need to store your item away, polythene bags are durable enough to
offer needed protection.

Design Brief

After thinking and researching about the problems my family have with the
apples in polythene wraps, I have decided to create a string bag for my family to
carry the fruits safely and with no side effects on the fruits.

This String bag will: -

1. Include the string bag with strands, yarns, or non-woven synthetic

material into a net-like structure.
2. Include a leather part to carry the string bag attaching the string bag and
the leather handle with two metal rings

3. Include hangers in the house so it will be easy to hang the string bag at
any of the hangers
4. Include different colors and make it attractive
5. Will not include any harmful materials which cause chemical reactions in
fruits
6. Include completely safe material without any chemical reactions to the
fruits
7. Include different patterns of net so it will look attractive
8. Include a very strong material which can carry up to 70 kg’s
