 SET UP module
This is the tool that enables you to configure the general working
parameters for the INGESYS® SIPCON Suite.
It is composed of three units:
• PC communication port configuration lid for an optimal interface to
the SIPC through different media (local, remote, fiber optic, cable,
radio, etc.).
• HMI event and alarm pages presentation configuration lid.
• Printer’s drivers configuration lid.

PASSWORD module
Allows defining security levels by assigning different user access.
INGESYS® SIPCON SUITE

ENGINEERING module
The engineering console for the Integrated Protection and Control
System (SIPCON) is a program that generates and maintains the
databases needed to configure and run the SIPCON supervision
screens (control, protections, data reports, etc.)
It enables the System data base to structure configurations, assign
texts, acronyms and attributes to each signal, measurement and meter
of the data base. These values will be used in events and alarms lists
and for storage purposes.

CAD module
The CAD program is a highly intuitive graphical SCADA design tool
that allows the development of substation level screens and views.
Fully integrated in the INGESYS® SIPCON Suite, the CAD modules
enables you to create, extend, expand and enhance your new or
existing substation HMIs.
SETTINGS module
User setting pages configuration module that enables to access the
TCP and UCS devices logical equations parameters.

REPORT module
The report design program of the Protection and Control Integrated
System (SIPCON) is a program that creates reports that can be either
viewed on a screen or as a printed list of the historical data collected
by the consoles.

INGESYS® SIPCON SUITE

With this tool we can create reports in order to see the historical data
related to measurements, counters, operation and continuity reports
as well as the predictive maintenance reports in the “Supervision
Console).

INSTALLATIONS module
Allows different substation configuration management in order to
select the HMI active substation, back-up, copy or delete installation.

OSCILLOGRAMS module
It provides an easy interface for protection oscillography records back
up management.

 SUPERVISION module
HMI application. Provides a real time full access to the system when
connected to the relevant SIPC port, including command executions.
This module is limited for each user by entering a password. It also
provides applications that display chronological event reports, alarms
reports, measurements trending diagrams, user defined reports, etc.
INGESYS® SIPCON SUITE

PROTECTIONS module
Allows a direct access to each one of the system’s IEDs. Real time
information and settings can be monitored from any device.
This module incorporates features for changing settings, events, fault
reports, oscillograms download and settings backup management. It
also has graphic oscillograms display tools, including instant values
phasor diagrams and fault location calculation. COMTRADE and ASCII
sample value formats are managed by this module.

SIPCON/AW module
The Automatisms logic programs (SIPCON/A-W) is a tool that
configures local control units (LCU). This configurer is used to create
the functions lists and database employed to obtain E2ROM’s with the
code that will apply in each constituent module of the UCL
The configurer is integrated in the SIPCON protection and control
console, and works with the UCL’s defined in the database for the
working installation selected at this console.
This tool allows to program TCP and LCU devices:
• HW configuration management
• Logical signals
• Automatisms
• Data buffers
• Communications ports
• Local interface performance
