1. Europe is well known for a combination of all things that a tourist would look for. Having some
of the worlds’ most outstanding historical sites, Europe is widely known for its well-nourished
western culture. European food is often considered incomparable to any other. Foods such as
sausages and pizza to name a few are originated in European land. On the other hand, those
tourists who appreciate excitement and adrenaline can enjoy the European night life in any
country. While tourists who rather would go for a calm, peaceful and relaxed trip can spend
time on beautiful beaches and landscapes that are to die for. The natives have grown
accustomed to an extremely welcoming nature that makes the visit a more memorable one.
2. The geography of the European countries consists of world-famous historical locations,
beautiful clear rivers, memorizing Atlantic oceans and so much more. Due to the fact that
most European countries are rich in culture, tourists flock in numbers to witness cultural
festivals. One festival everyone might be aware of is the Oktoberfest festival held in Germany
every October. Tourists from various places visit Germany for the festival.
3. Statistical results form 2013 European economic report summary showed that the economic
development hasn’t been very decent. Even with decreasing unemployment, economy growth
has not been recorded. It is forecasted that European countries will have to face a lot of
hurdles to maintain the economic structure. The government has however pushed this cost to
the tax payers.
4. Northern Europe and Southern Europe are divided by the mountains. These are often called
Alps and seem to be made up of Mediterranean Sea and Danube rivers. Europe being
considered as a heterogeneous population, it is comprised of various types of language,
tradition and culture. Northern Europe consists of countries such as Iceland, Finland, Norway
to name a few. These countries have their own unique approach towards tourism. Iceland for
example is the home for the world renown museum Reykjavik which holds artifacts from
Viking history; Iceland also is the home for various hot spring lakes in Myvatn area.

5. Southern Europe tourists have become tired of the usual Mediterranean Sea, the growing
popularity of Central and East destinations and the fact that destinations are very old. Some
emerging trends that have been noticed is the old age tourism increase, rise of central and
eastern markets and boosting of family holidays within Europeans.

8. The grand tour is a well-known travel package. It involves tours of places such as Paris,
Netherlands, Italy and various other European countries. The grand tour consists of tours of
historical locations dating back from 14th century.
9. From the 2013 statistics it was observed that the South Asian countries contribute
approximately 6.2% towards Asian international arrivals. The continent hosts large mountains
such as the Himalayas and are rich with culture that is found to be fascinating by many tourists
from around the world. Tourists enjoy the street markets, foods, and the temple architecture
can be very interesting. Tourism economy based on 2013 statistics showcases further
increment.
Eastern Asia grew swiftly since the 1970’s and has been growing rapidly ever since. The new
technological advancement has been developed into the lifestyle without any hindrance to
their tradition or culture.
10. Australian main cities are; Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast and New South
Wales.
Canberra being the capital city, the country is well known for its hot and sunny atmosphere
with abundance of wild life, beautiful beaches and surfing locations.
New Zealand main cities are; Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Hamilton, Nelson, Dunedin,
Palmerston North, Rotorua, Napier, Tauranga
With Auckland as the capital city, New Zealand is a culture rich nation with a cool climate.

11. Australia boasts as the largest tourist generating region for the southern hemisphere.
Research shows that close to 3 million people who travel from Australia every year for tourism
activities. A large number of travellers live in NSW and Victoria. A few of these travellers often
travel to Europe and decide to stay back. New Zealand, Fiji and USA are some of the most
preferred destinations.
12. Australia consists of various beach areas that attract wave catchers, Bondi Beach is one of the
famous beaches located in Australia; the country also is the home for rich Aboriginal cultural
heritage.

13. According to cultural influence, Australians are classified as peaceful and calm people;
although non-natives have developed a more “straight up” pattern of lifestyle. Australians
often travel for tourism to cooler countries.
On the other hand, Maoris from New Zealand have a warlike culture, but non-natives have
formed a peaceful and calm nature. Travel for tourism is often to countries with tropical or
warm climate.
14. New Zealand tourism is different in various ways. Everyone seems to loved the cold climate.
New Zealand also boats sulphiric deposits in Rotorua that is the home of naturally heated
pools.

15. USA is known to have various types of tourist attractions. These attractions are known all over
the world since most Hollywood movies are shot in USA. Some of the major tourist locations
are Disney Land, and Universal studios other attractions include large malls, and sporting
venues.
16. Canadian climate is based on a warm and generously cold atmosphere. There are breath
taking landscapes, mountains and lakes. Canadian nationals love to travel around their own
country which is the reason that the rate of domestic tourism is much higher than
international. However, international tourists come from Europe, Asia and other smaller
countries.

17. Canada is known to be the host of the world’s most exquisite restaurants. Canada consists of
astonishing buildings, parks and event arenas that hosts some of the world best performance.
Canada hosts some of the world renown 5-star hotels. Transportation is considered a major
agenda in parliamentary gathering, and an act has been recently passed to modernize
transportation by 2030.

18. Canada and USA have grown more accustomed to a westernized culture which instills the
value of being independent and free.
19. Latin America is divided into 3 main regions; Mexico, Caribbean and South America. Latin
America is located in the far left with mountainous terrain, the Caribbean on the other hand
surrounds the islands from the west Indies, it is widely known for its tropical climate and sea
related attractions.
20. Physical divisions between Caribbean and American are the costal areas that are in abundance
to the Caribbean; other differences are in language and cultural factors.

21. Mexico is known to be a culture rich country with great food and drinks, the Caribbean on the
other hand have a grasp on coastal environment for tourism.
22. Being a small island nation, there are large issues that are threat to the tourism industry
development. Some of the major factors are climate change and the rise in sea levels due to
melting ice caps. Other issues such as native poverty, crime and drugs.

23. Central America in the past few years has grown a large fan base for ecotourism. Tourists are
now very interested in Mexico canyons and the Costa Rica canopy tour. The potential for
ecotourism to be part of economic development and environmental sustainability could be
seen at an increasing rate.
24. Latin America must eliminate the bureaucratic constrains to make visa applications a easier
process.

25. South America is a nation that has increasing temperature, tourists arrive in numbers to
witness nature with landscapes, snow mountains, forests and deserts.
South America consists of all forms of ecotourism and historical locations; Peru for example
has hidden cities, Ecuador, Venezuela and Chile on the other hand are famous for their rich
nature content.
