Linear heat detector, composed of two steel conductors, with an external diameter of
0,8mm, independent and individually surrounded in an heat sensing polymer.
Conductors are twisted in a way to guarantee that between them will always be present
the mechanical strength necessary for a suitable intervention.
All that is wrapped with a protective tape. The outer sheath is completed with an external
vinyl jacket which increase the mechanical stability and offer resistance to chemical and
environmental agents.
- Two poles thermosensible cable with EPC external coating.
- External diameter: ± 4mm
- Intervention temperature: 88°C (190°F)
- Installation temperature: -40÷66°C
- Certification: UL and FM as linear heat detector
- External cable sheath: PVC based, red coloured

Each zone is constituted by a single branch of LHD cable.

The maximum length of each branch is 5.000mt.

The rack will be delivered with:

- Power supply card 24Vac / 24Vcc
- Display card
- N°2 Zone card. Each zone card shall manage up to 4 branches of LHD cable 5.000mt
each.

Power supply: 220Vac via a 220Vac / 24Vac transformer that shall be placed on the internal
plate of the cabinet and has to be connected to Power Supply card.
The power supply card acts as battery charger, if backup batteries are connected.
LCD display signalling of the alarm point with indication of the distance in metres or feets
(selectable).

RS232 Port, for event repetition by means of Modbus protocol.

Cumulative Alarm and fault relay, dedicated zone relays, 4÷20mA output related to the alarm
point.
