made its legitimate sometimes in the
year 1880
Yarn:
 Is a story about events.

 Yarn includes gesta, like
adventurous exploits.
Mixed modes:

modes of the short story.
Is a smaller affair but not less artistic than
the novel if the novel is epic in prose.
 Is the most widely read of all the genres.
 Little critical attention is given to the
short story.
