SYNNOPSIS ON THE FOLLOWING DISSERTATION TOPICS :

1. VISUAL COMMMUNICATION IN ARCHITECTURE

2. DESIGN AND LAYOUTS FOR DRAINAGE

3. DESIGNING FOR COMPACT AREAS

Visual communication in architecture

Aim :

Aim is to provide a clear and concise visual understanding of what we intend to create for our
clients based on their intentions and brief– a design process conveying ideas and information
translating them from sketch to reality.

Objective :

In this report we will research how communication can satisfy the brief with the help of drawing,
sketckes, photographs and prestation models etc.... In this we explore different visions of elemants
and study of principles of visual commnication.

Scope :

visual communication has a wide scope of different of field not in architecture But the other too.
It helps in better way finding and provides convenience along with aesthetic appeal

Limitation :

we will not be focus on their uses in marketing Industries our main focus is to understand our
thoughts process about vision

Methodology :

Visual communication design rdies on drawing as the primary component of visual language to
support the connection and visualisation of Ideas as an architect to develop an understand the
importance to clearly communicate their final thought.
Design and layout for drainage

Aim:

Optimising design and layout for drainage to understand the issues and provide solution for them
via better and efficient new designs.

Objective :

The majority of drainage problems are usually caused by an inadequate pitch or slope in your yard
which prevents water runoff from being diverted away from the house. And the issue is often
complicated by downspouts on the residence that do not pipe away the rain gutter water from the
property.

Scope :

Drainage system will include all the components needed to ensure that the substructure is properly
drained, and may be formed of components such as open ditches, closed ditches with pipe drains
and drainage through stormwater drainage pipes, channels and culverts.

Limitation :

To understand the problems related to drainage and how to solve it like..Different drainage
problems, inclusive of puddling, pooling, saturated soil, and even undirected downspout water that
can destroy landscaping and turn a backyard into a swamp.

Methodology :

A methodology for analysing the drainage system in excavations between walls.

Design In Compact Areas

Aim :

Compact development aims for a more efficient use of land through higher-density planning. In
light of rapid urbanization, many emerging cities are turning to compact development as a means
to more efficiently use scarce resources required for economic and social activities.

Objective :

The design considerations for compact development should achieve the following objectives to
make the community livable: proximity to one or more regional destinations, such as a shopping
center or place of employment; affordably priced homes; provisions for on-site amenities; and.
proximity to schools.

Scpoe :

There are many benefits of the compact Devlopment over urban sprawl which include: less car
dependency , reduced energy consumption, better public transport services, increased overall
accessibility, the reuse of infrastructure and previously developed land etc.

Limitation :

In this report the focus is going to be on the better design of compact habitable spaces. Also we
study how to use a small spaces for living to repact in future development.

Methodology :

To use different methods for creating smaller efficient habitable spaces.
