FJC Integrated Farm is located at Centro III, Luna, Isabela with an area of more or less

1 hectare, a newly accredited learning Site from, Agricultural Training Institute Region

2, San Mateo, Isabela, with a registered program of (UTPRAS) Unified Training Program

Registration System of Agricultural Crops Production and Organic Agricultural Production

under Technical Education Skills Development Authority. In order to accredited to the

stated above industry partner, we provide all the requirements needed, we build up

training hall, office and guest room and many more tools, equipment’s, materials for the

trainees and clientele of the said program or services. We have also piggery and

vermicompost shed as well as organic vegetables plant that sustain food quality organic

production and flowers. FJC Integrated farm start producing quality flowers. The main

goal of FJC Integrated Farm is to stablish a training center and assessment center in the

field of agriculture and soon member of the National Organic Agriculture Program

(NOAP)

3. What are techniques/technology to be applied

In Production of organic vegetables, organic fertilizer applied (vermicompost) at land

preparations for vegetables, liquid fertilizers such as vermi tea, fermented plant juice and IMO,

All concoction can be use alone or a combinations such as oriental herbs nutrients (OHN )or

other botanicals for pest management.

The major problem in vegetable production is pests especially in eggplant, tomato, and

leafy vegetables (pechay, cabbage). Pests are controlled by;

a) planting insect repellent plants such as lemon grass (Cymbopogon citratus), basil

(Ocimum basilicum), and marigold inside with vegetables;

b) diversification of crops planted;

c) weekly spraying of OHN with super-hot chilli (“siling diablo”) with perla soap,

alternate spraying with fermented liquid concoctions;

d) removal of damaged plants and feeding them to native swine;
