Church 212° Family,
We are excited about our new Small Group Semesters.
We believe that people’s lives are changed by rela-
tionships. Church 212° provides a small group setting
where you get to know people and mature as a result of
growing in Christ.

We have a variety of small groups, which consist of

Bible studies, accountability groups, restoration/recov-
ery, outreach, fellowship and recreation. We also would
love to see you take the 212 Challenge, a weekend en-
counter followed by 12 weeks of discipleship. Some of
our topics include: Priorities, Prayer, Biblical Reading,
Fasting, Guarding your Eyes and Ears, Financial Stew-
ardship, Connecting with The Family of God, Character
and Integrity, The Love Walk, and Serving your way to
the Top.

This directory informs you of the small groups available

as well as service teams, which provide a way you can
get involved here at Church 212°. See which group
best meets your needs and get involved.

God sees you as an important part of His plan. I would

love the opportunity to help you find your place in minis-
try here at Church 212°.

Looking forward to serving with you,

Stephanie Harrison

ABOUTSMALLGROUPS
Getting connected at Church 212° means a visit to the Pastors
home for a special dinner in your honor and becoming part of
a small group. Small groups provide healthy relationships and
how to apply biblical truths to put into everyday practice. Small
groups allow Church 212° to grow smaller as we grow larger.

Bible Facts about Small Groups: The book of Acts records

the first church in Jerusalem. The small groups in the early
church were held in homes. Acts 5:42 tells us that the people
met in the temple courts and from house to house. In the New
Testament times, small groups were essential for fellowship,
relationships and prayer. Today they serve the same purpose.
By joining a small group you will find fulfillment as you connect
with others in serving and you will experience God’s love in a
very warm accepting environment.

What types of small groups do Church 212° offer? There

are many different types of groups including Bible study,
prayer, recovery, missions, fellowship, sports and much more.
These groups are located throughout the valley and leaders
use their gifts and talents to create an environment that con-
nect people looking for purpose, vision, and support as they
face daily challenges in life.

How can I get started? Some groups are starting in the fall
and many are throughout the year. All groups are ready to
welcome you into their home. Look for a group that interests
you and call the leader for more information.

CHURCH212ºGROWTHTRACK
In our name “Church 212º” (boiling point), we have declared that we
are going the extra degree. At 211º water is HOT at 212º it BOILS!
Our goal is to turn it up one degree in our lives, to go the extra mile.
We strive to do a better job at everything we set our hands to.

Church 212º’s mission is: Restoring People with the love of God,
Igniting Passion by authentic Praise and Worship and Revealing
God’s Purpose to our generation through the ministry of reconcili-
ation.

Participating in our growth track, the “212 Challenge”– the first de-
sire we have is to lead people to Christ by accepting Him as Lord,
Romans 8:9&10; afterward, accepting the call to be true disciples of
Jesus Christ. What does a true disciple look like? How does a true
disciple act? How will the world know we are His disciples?

Christianity is not just an event; it is a transformational process of

discipleship that the Holy Spirit works in us: “Now the Lord is the
Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we
are being transformed into His likeness with ever-increasing glory,
which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.” (2 Corinthians 3:17-
18)

A disciple is... a pupil; a learner. Its name is derived from the root
“discipline”. Jesus calls us to be disciples when he said, “Come unto
me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest
for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden light.” (Matthew
11:28, 29)

For times, locations, or more information about any of these events,

The church is called to continue the ministry of Jesus, “of all Jesus
began to do and teach…” (Acts 1: 1)

212° Commitment – we preach the Word of God to the crowd:

The Lord is present to heal with the Word (Lk 5:17)
The Lord confirms the Word (Mk 16: 15 – 20)
Preaching is our commission (Mt 28: 18 – 20)

212° Compassion – we work together to reach a hurting commu-

nity:
Jesus helped people through compassion (Mk 1: 41; 6: 34)
Jesus sent his disciples because of compassion (Mt 9: 36-38)
Love is the mark of a true disciple (Jn 13: 34, 35)

212° Belief – we believe Jesus forgives and heals broken people:

Jesus has power to heal and forgive! (Mk 2)
He forgives our sins and heals our diseases (Ps 103: 3)
The cross paid for forgiveness and healing (Is 53: 5)

212° Doctrine – we seek the truth that sets the captive free:
We seek to rightly divide the truth (II Tim 2: 15)
We must continue in the truth we know (Jn 8: 31, 32)
Truth, taught in love, keeps us safe (Eph 4: 14, 15)

212° Expectation – we do the extraordinary and we experience

the supernatural:
These men broke through the roof (Mk 2: 1-12)
Jesus made clay with spit to heal a blind man (Jn 9: 6)
Peter walked on the water (Mt 14: 29)

Are you ready for a fresh start? “To have what we’ve never had we
must do what we’ve never done!”
