Right to participate: International Open FIDE Rapid Tournament

Playing system: Open tournament, Swiss system, 9 rounds, Playing time is 2x 10 min + 5 s/m
due to FIDE rules for Rapid chess. Waiting period is 10 minutes from start of round.
Tournament will be sent to calculation of the FIDE Rapid rating list.

Prize fund: 500 € (thereof 395 € financial prizes)

1. place – 100 € 4. place – 40 €
2. place – 60 € 5. place – 30 €
3. place – 50 € 6. – 10. place – 20 €
Champion of District Topolcany: 1. place: 15 €
Trophy, Diplom, Medal
The best senior, woman a junior, rating 2000, 1800, 1600, raffle: material prizes
Prizes can be cumulated - but across categories of rating prizes are not cumulated.
Starting fee: 8 € - children to 14 years (2006 and younger), seniors (1955 and older), Sev DP
(disabled person) and women
10 € - others
Registration form: Sent completed registration form (name & surname, date of birth, a request on
accommodation & food, phone contact) electronically to riabov@chess.sk or by google
form. An updated list of players on chess-results.
Deadline of registration: 31 August 2020.
Registration after deadline possible (with increased fee of 3 €).

Ranking: The sum of points obtained from all of games. If there is the same number of points, then
ranking will be decided by 1. Buchholz (without the weakest opponent), 2. Buchholz, 3.
Progressive points, 4. The number of wins, 5. The result of mutual game or 6. lottery.

Accommodation: Day before the tournament there will be MSR Blitz. Participants could use
accomodation on dormitory (10,30 €), at pensions Batavya / Kopačka (15 €) or hotel
Koruna/Félix (30 €). Selected accomodation please send to us with your registration.

Food: Beef-pork goulash 4 €.

Bufet provided next to the playing hall.
