Students are going to be evaluated in the presentation based on the following aspect:

• Participation

• Use of the language and content learnt

• Fluency

• Creativity

Written production:

Extra class work is going to be scored over 10 points. Spelling, grammar and use of the
structures learnt in this lesson is going to be considered.

EXTRA CLASS WORK

Students have to write individually an original recipe from their families. Inb order to
complete this assignment they have to interview one member of the family and geta clear explanation
of the recipe.

OBSERVATION:

For presenting this lesson must have to be considering the date and the nearest celebration in
order to get a clear idea from the students. E.g.: In December or January is better to consider
Christmas and Turkey with stuffing as its representative food.
What the teacher did was successful or not?

I consider this lesson because when I was in High school my teacher of English make my
classmates and me to read the article by turns and fill the table on the page, next class we repeat the
countable and uncountable nouns, there were no time for oral production we just practice mechanical
exercises. I think I didn’t learnt countable and uncountable nouns until I learnt them as reinforcement
at university. Now I realized that this book was very useful and we can make different activities
resulting in better language learning. As you can appreciate I consider including more real context to
the lesson because many students learnt it better and they see it more useful in real situations for
example when they want to explain a tourist our national gastronomy.
