Infantry – Infantry Units use Skirmishers. Skirmishers give the unit a shooting range of 20cm until it loses it’s first stand as a
casualty, at which time the skirmishing companies will be recalled for their own protection and to re-enforce the line. When this
happens shooting range drops to 15cm for the rest of the game.
Infantry may form square on Initiative if enemy cavalry is visible within 20cm. Infantry in square counts as fortified against
attacking cavalry. Units in square formation may not move.
Cavalry – Guard Cossacks are not treated as Warband. No Cavalry Units may shoot. Total Cavalry Units may not exceed the
total number of Musketeer Infantry Units. Ulhans should be mounted on a 40mm x 20mm base as non-shock cavalry.
Artillery – Total number of Artillery Units may not exceed half the total number of Musketeer Infantry Units. Heavy artillery
treats targets in Fortified cover as ‘Defended’ and targets in Defended cover as ‘in the open’. Guard Artillery can be represented
by giving a regular Artillery Unit +1 Hits at +10pts.
