1. To learn about the Philippines as a


State and understand how the
structure, organization and operation
of the government of the Republic of
the Philippines, as well as the
different organs of the State, is both
laid out and limited under the 1987
Constitution.
Course Objectives
2. To know some concepts in
Constitutional law and their
application in the jurisprudence
decided by the Supreme Court.

3. To be able to read cases assigned,


examine the relevant facts, identify
the issues and to apply the legal rules
and principles involved.

4. To develop research skills and find


relevant reference materials pertinent
to the assigned topics.

5. To communicate effectively using


persuasive arguments for or against
an issue raised while applying the
principles and concepts of the topics
under discussion.
