ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
I would like to express my special appericiation to gate college for giving us the
opportunity of practical education as an internship in Renaissance Haikoyu Hotel, China.

My profound gratitude to Assistance director Zhu Yufei(Niklaus) , F&B manager Hu


jingwei(Chris), supervisor Zhong Yan(Alexa). And finally the person I look after Guanglei
liu(Grey). And I would to thank every chinese trainee who were before us there, they taughgt us
a lot abot the restaurant and hotel. These are the people who have contributed nad supported me
tp complete one year without any problem and hesitation.

Finally, I woul like to give my tahnks to Mrs. Megha Shrestha Pradhan and GATE for the
support and guidance during my internship period.
EXECUTIVE SUMMERY
One of the fastest growing sectors of the economy of our time is hotel industry. Hotel
industry alone is multi-billion and growing interprise. It is exciting, never boring and offer
unlimited opportunities. The hotel industry is diverse enough for people to work in different area
of intrest and still be employed within the hotel industry. The trend of hotels are global.

This report is based on my personal experience working in Renaissance Haikou Hotel ,


China. This internship was of one year. This internship became my first step for my career in
hospitality industry, which was very helpful.

The first job responsibility I was assigned was to support in back area with other chinese
trainee, which include wiping and cleaning of cutlery, throughout the time I was given a chance
to work in restaurant to take care of the guest in certain area. The day I start working in
restaurant I learned a lot about ADD restaurant and ala-carte service. I was very pleased that I get
to learn many thing about about the service sequence, upselling the menu items, and many more.

This report also shows how much i have grown, what I have learned. I enjoys the
challenges that came along every single day. I found a very professional gentelman who teaches
me everything he knows about the service in the restaurant, but also he was trainee came here to
take course on Voyager training. The person happens to left a mark on me and I am very proud
to work with him and even get to know him.

By finishing my internship, the lesson that I have learned will be very helpful and
valuable in my future.
