About L&T Power Training Institute
L&T Power Training Institute is a Technical Training Centre under L&T Power which is a business brand
of Larsen & Toubro, with a mandate to integrate L&T’s varied offerings in the thermal power sector.
This Institute was set up with the mission “To design, develop and deliver quality training in the
multidisciplinary areas of power plant value chain, through conventional, simulator based, e‐
learning mode by creating state‐of‐the‐art infrastructure and by providing a knowledge sharing
platform.”

This Institute has a strong foundation and vast expertise to conduct the long‐term induction and
short‐term refresher/customised training courses, Technical Workshop & Seminars for the
professionals from power sector &various process industries.

Main objectives of the training are to disseminate the knowledge and improve the proficiency of
the fresh & experienced power engineers so that they can perform most efficiently for delivering
quality work, minimizing the project set‐up time and optimizing the operating cost & energy
efficiency in powerplants.

CEA Recognition • This recognition empowers the institute to conduct the Induction Training and O&M
Programs as per Rule 3(2A) of Electricity Act 2003 for fresh & working engineers.
• These training will authorize engineers to operate and undertake maintenance of  
power station of capacity of 100 MW and above.

Registration

Registration for the respective training programme can be made by sending the filled up Registration Form
(attached) along with Registration fee + Applicable GST (presently 18%) by Demand Draft in favour of “Larsen &
Toubro Limited” payable at Vadodara.
Participants from any organisation have to provide their official GSTIN which will help in deriving correct tax liability
under GST regime. GSTIN is not required for the individual participants who are out of GST regime. Registration fee
may also be transferred through NEFT and delegates have to provide Transaction reference number, Amount
transferred & date of transfer to ensure NEFT is received by us. Wire transfer details are as follows:
