Why Facility Management is
important in Hospitality?
As a Hospitality Manager/ Supervisor it is always
necessary to look after/ arrange for:
Maintenance of equipments and systems installed
like gas bank, sewage system etc.
Looking after arranging for licenses for newly
establishments or renewing the existing ones.
Installation of equipments and systems.
Planning for designs/ layout for various outlets.
Software installation or renewal.
Arranging for hired Catering Services.

1-Star hotel provides a limited

Classification is done in two categories:
• Scheme for approval of Hotel Projects
• Classification/Reclassification of Operational Hotels
Classification will be valid for a period of 5 (Five) years
from the date of approval of Chairman HRACC
