Seven billion people are on this Earth, and everyone one is different from the rest of others.
The thinking of everyone is unique. I am Hazelle Hynson Saladaga . I live in the far, far
away island of Bongao, Tawi-Tawi. I am a simple girl that is nineteen years old, turning
twenty this March. I am the second to the last child of my parents and therefore beloved of
them. I also love my parents they mold me enough to pursue my dreams in life.

There are three very important aspects that play a major role in my life. They can be
categorize as intellectual, social, and spiritual. My intellectual self is interesting because I am
mainly right-brained which means that I tend to use my creativity more than my
mathematical skills but still chose an engineering course. My social self consists of friends,
family, and my surroundings. I spend most of my time at home with my family. Whenever I
am with my friends, I observe their behaviors and listen to their opinions. I am more of an
independent type of person. Being with different people has influenced me into appreciating
different cultures and beliefs.

I love to play with my dogs. I like to spend my spare time in watching movies, I also like to
explore on the internet world and this is my hobby. I love to get knowledge and learn new
things. I am very passionate about technology. I like to play with gadgets. I am not fond of
reading books that is why I am not really good in grammar, also the reason why I am afraid
of speaking in front of many people. From my childhood, I wanted to be unique. I want to do
something creative. I have the ambition to become a businesswoman. My parents are
supportive in this matter. They also want me to be successful. I love to wear a simple dress
and do not want to spend unnecessary money. I also like to eat fresh fruits and vegetables. I
really like to drink coffee and eat seafood because there is a lot of it in our province at a low
cost. I am fond of traveling. Exploring new things is always wonderful for me. I love to see
nature. Every year during my summer vacation, my parents and I enjoy our holidays in some
tourist spot but unfortunately, our academic calendar is not the same with my parents’
schedule. Moving on to favourite movies; Titanic, Romeo & Juliet. Basically the list can go
on and on. I must be up to date with the latest movies. Cooking has been a huge interest of
mine. My papang is a great cook- especially in asian cooking. I think I have got it from him.
From my point of view, having learned how to cook, makes a person’s life much easier.
Then last but not least I love praying. I pray as much as I can. Being a Christian, praying is
very important. I also feel that whenever I pray, it helps me getting forward and achieving
more and more.

To conclude, I am happy about being who I am. It is true that I am not perfect just like
anybody else. However, I am a student of my mistake. I will do everything to make my
family proud of myself, that’s why I am going towards achieving my goals with
perseverance and smile on my face.
