HOW TO WRITE THE REVIEW OF REVIEW OF RELATED LITERATURE AND STUDIES (SSAP)
PROCEDURE USING SSAP:
1. SURVEY – READ, READ, READ AND READ THE IDEAS
TO ESTABLISH THE RELEVANCE OF THE MATERIALS TO THE RESEARCH. 2. SYNTHESIS
3. ANALYSIS -ESTABLISH THE RELEVANCE BETWEEN THE SECOND ELEMENT (SYNTHESIS) AND THE THIRD ELEMENT (ANALYSIS) AND TRY TO DEVELOP A CONTINIUITY ON THE DISCUSSION
1. Develop a continuity on the discussion
After synthesizing the references (the literature or the studies) to the research you are conducting, the 3rd element which is the ANALYSIS would fall under the following criteria
FOUR CRITERIA(ANALYSIS) 1. IDENTIFICATION OF GAPS OR THE LIMITATION OF THE STUDY a) IDENTIFICATION OF GAPS OR THE LIMITATION OF THE STUDY Relating this with the previous element which is synthesis after going through the process of synthesizing citing and reflecting all of the references that you were able to go through in the ANALYSIS stage you are now to Present an idea wherein you establish areas that were not covered by the previous reference that you gone through so maybe you identify something that was not included in the study of this particular person and you will be able to fill the particular gap or limitation of that study so that’s what you call identifying the gaps and assuring that in your study this particular gap would be addressed. In cases where these gaps cannot be filled in with the research that you are currently writing then part of the analysis would be the discussion or the presentation of the further studies
b) STATE IF YOUR STUDY WOULD BE ABLE TO ADDRESS THAT GAP OR PROVIDE
ANSWERS TO UNRESOLVED ISSUES so you would just state in this part of your research that this particular area that was not covered by your research and the research of other references could be the subject of further studies and

a. Particular and specific areas that were not covered by the research
3. REVIEW AREAS OF CONTROVERSY
another area that you can look into on the part of analysis would be the review ing the areas of controversy -there were studies that were conducted but the results of that particular study was not conclusive therefore quote and un quote controversy by the use of the term arose and therefore you can further investigate on that particular controversy that was not answered by that particular research 4. PRESENTATION a. Organization of references (organization of your ideas) i. The use of deductive method in developing argument ii. Develop the coherence and relevance of the discussion b. dd
4. AND PRESENTATION
The last element in writing RRL will be the presentation.
Establish as writers the organization of your references. Organization does
not just refer to how you arrange the references, it should be in a way that it reflects the doctype method of writing, so you start form general information the background ,m you can also include a bit of history and then try to develop the coherence and relevance of your discussion buy citing another reference that would slim down the discussion from general to a more specific area it may be from another country to local discussing the background effect of the problem that you are writing in you research and then moving on towards the more specific aarea of your study so it is a paragraph development wherein you start from a general idea or information and to more specific up to the point where you reach the specific research problem that you are trying to present this is what we mean by organization not the literal organization of your reference but the organization of your ideas
