IN THE COURT OF THE JUDICIAL FIRST CLASS MAGISTRATE AT

ADILABAD

Hon’ble sir,

Today i.e. on 18.06.2020 at 16.00 hours the complainant by name Fasath Ali
Khan, President of Ahly-E-Sunnathwal Jamath(Sufinzam ka Faroq Ganesh nagar,
Adilabad came to the PS and lodged a written report on the letter pad of Ahly-E-
Sunnathwal Jamath(Sufinzam ka Faroq stating that, the managing editor and News
anchor Mr. Amish devgan has made serious derogatory and blasphemous remark on
the world renowned Saint Sufi Hazrat Khwaja Gareeb Nawaz(R.A.) in his show dated
16.06.2020 which has been going viral on Social Media most probably on twitter. The

/Status/1272538933310525441?s=20.The Ahly-E-Sunnathwal Jamath committee
Adilabad takes strong objection to this and demands immediate arrest of Mr. Devgan
for creaing discontent and trying to flare communal disharmony in the country. “Mr.
Devgan has called the Holy Saint Sufi as Terrorist Chishty and Lootere Chistri”
which is highly condemnable by all section of the society. Hazrath Khwaja Gareeb
Nawaz(R.A.) is a world renowned Siant Sufi having billions of followers from all
faiths, people of every cast and creed flock to his shrine to gain blessings. Every year
even the prime Ministers office and the opposition leaders of India as well as
several CMs from different states and MPs send their tributes to this great Saint
Sufi of Islam. Hence insulting such a great personality for gaining TRP and trying to
disturb peace in the country by such remarks cannot be accepted at any costs. As such
the complainant requested to take necessary action and immediate arrest of Mr.
Devgan under relevant IPC law to maintain peace and tranquility in the country.
13. Action taken. Since the above report reveals-commission of offences U/Sec. as
mentioned at item No.2.

Registered the case and took up the investigation/directed.
