The Present Perfect tense is used to talk about past events with a connection to the present.

Present Perfect
This is the way in which you can use the Present Perfect in affirmative sentences:

Subject or Auxiliary verb Verb in participle

She has written a scary novel.

I have eaten chicken this week.

We have watched a funny movie.

Tip! You can use the contraction ’ve with the pronouns I, you, we, they, but with
the pronouns she, he, it, you have to use has.
Example: I’ve thought about my future / She has thought about her future.

In negative forms, follow this structure:
